It took me quite a while to do this one. It started as me drawing an airship while watching Jurassic Park 2 and expanded into this. The title says ‘Kuratta Shi’ which I hope (if my Japanese is good and Google is right) means Clutter City. I imagined this to be a city in a world where there are very few cities, just a few of them on each continent in fact. But they’re enormous sprawling cities that are a hundred times larger than ours, and have buildings hundreds and hundreds of stories tall. I imagined what it’d be like to live in a little apartment like that, with the room shaking as airships flew past navigating through the city. I’ve never done this before, filled an entire page with ink, I’ve always been worried that it would look terrible but I rather like. I hope others do to :D

This is like part of a tiered city, four tiers shown here. Obviously the lower the tier the lower the social standard. The bottom two tiers are cut off from the top two, I decided to make it so that they barely interacted (apart from the mechanical arm on tier two which delivers supplies up through to tier three. The little hanging things everywhere are lanterns! I have taken a great interest to Asian architecture hence the building style; here there are temples, homes and more. There are also a lot of artificial gardens. I really like this :D
